It will be held in the stunning gardens of The Radisson Hotel, Stillorgan and will have a slightly different format…
The event will be on Thursday September 16th, kicking-off with drinks from 4pm followed by a BBQ style meal at 5pm and a sports panel from 6.30-8pm.
Availability will be significantly reduced vs previous years so please book early if you wish to attend. The venue will have strict control over the numbers so it really will be case of, when we hit the number it is completely sold-out. Due to Covid restrictions there will be a maximum of 6 at each table. As costs of running a controlled event are quite high, we’ll need to hold the price of €2,000 per table.
I hope to confirm the panel members in the coming days but tables are on sale from now, on a first-come-first-served basis. Can you let me (or Legacy cc’d) know by return mail if you wish to reserve a table.
Due to the high costs of running such an event can I give a special call out for sponsors to support. It’s the first ‘live’ event in over 18 months and it would be great to have some familiar brands come on board as sponsors. Massive thanks to Niall Andrews and the team at the National Lottery for already signing up as a major sponsor. Any others interested please drop me a note.

We are delighted to announce the TWIG committee are hosting a virtual TWIG event on Friday 17th September 2021, with a panel of senior business people from across the grocery industry and beyond. This virtual event, hosted by Sonya Lennon and themed ‘Looking Back To Move Forward’ will give our panel an opportunity to look back on each of their careers and their experiences, both personal and business, particularly in the past 12 months and share with the audience their stories. While the event may be virtual for 2021, the first 500 registered attendees will each receive one of the now infamous TWIG goody bags.
We would like to give a huge thanks to our sponsors – Musgrave, Diageo, CPM and Suntory Beverage and Food Ireland, for supporting us at this year’s TWIG event and to Tap Creations for their new creative design for the event. Without their sponsorship and your continued support, the IGBF charity could not continue in its efforts to help those in need within the grocery industry in Ireland.
As one of the charity’s chief fundraising events in 2021, the tickets will remain at €250 each or 10 for €2,500.
