Beneficiaries of the Fund
In 2011 the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund assisted 293 families with Grants including Death Benefits totaling €698,000.

Management of the Fund
The Fund is managed by the Executive Committee in Dublin. The administration work of the Fund is undertaken by the Executive Secretary who is responsible for the general operation of the Fund. His work includes the payment of Grants and visits to beneficiaries to assess needs.

Activities are Countrywide
There are seven Regions throughout the country, each under the supervision of a Chairman and Committee. The function of the Regional Committees is primarily fund raising and reporting cases of hardship/need to the Executive Secretary as appropriate.
